# FehuBranding example tips
Build roads between your territories to strengthen your kingdom.
Trader zones are protected peace zones.
Freeborns can claim territory independently.
Your rested bonus is worth more than another reckless charge into the swamp.
Eat before battle. An empty stomach is not a difficulty setting.
Carry portal materials when exploring; the longship is faster when you do not have to sail it twice.
Wet and cold are a dangerous pair. Seek shelter before your stamina disappears.
Repairing equipment costs nothing, but forgetting to repair may cost everything.
Mark crypts, caves, veins, and good harbors on your map. Your future self will thank you.
Share useful map pins with your clan; knowledge is the lightest cargo you can carry.
A shield blocks damage. Good timing blocks embarrassment.
Parrying creates an opening, but only if the enemy is not too strong to stagger.
Watch your stamina bar. A Viking without stamina is just an angry pedestrian.
Leave some food and arrows near your bed. Corpse runs rarely begin according to plan.
Fire keeps you warm, rested, and occasionally on fire. Place it wisely.
Smoke needs a way out. Vikings invented chimneys after coughing through several prototypes.
Support your roof properly; gravity has no respect for Nordic architecture.
Different building pieces resist weather differently. A roof protects more than your hairstyle.
Raise terrain or build a moat when defending a settlement. Enemies dislike landscaping.
Do not place every valuable chest beside the front gate. Raiders appreciate convenient storage.
Label your chests. “Miscellaneous” is where organization goes to die.
Keep emergency food, mead, and portal materials in a separate supply chest.
Plant crops with enough space between them. Carrots also value personal boundaries.
Only cultivatable soil can grow crops, and some crops prefer specific biomes.
Tamed animals need room, food, and protection. They are allies, not decorative furniture.
Close the gate behind you. The greydwarfs were not invited.
Boats take damage in rough water and shallow harbors. Check the hull before a long voyage.
Sailing with the wind is fastest; rowing is slow but works when the gods are uncooperative.
Store metal near a forge or loading point. Heavy cargo teaches painful lessons about planning.
Most metals cannot pass through normal portals, so prepare a ship or a local workshop.
A cart carries much more than you do, but hills will make you question every ore you mined.
Use biome borders to your advantage; enemies from neighboring lands do not always cooperate.
Listen carefully in dangerous biomes. Many threats announce themselves before attacking.
Poison resistance mead is cheaper than recovering your gear from a swamp grave.
Frost resistance keeps you alive in the mountains; confidence does not.
Fire resistance is highly recommended where the landscape itself appears angry.
Bring the right damage type. Skeletons, blobs, and armored enemies do not fear the same weapons.
Upgrade a trusted weapon before crafting five shiny ones you cannot maintain.
Your bow is strongest when distance, stamina, and good aim are all on your side.
Sneaking reduces detection, but heavy armor is not famous for subtlety.
Boss powers are shared strategically. Coordinate them before the fight, not after the wipe.
Always build a fallback portal outside a boss arena or hostile landing zone.
Place a bed only after making sure you can survive waking up there.
Territory ownership brings opportunity, responsibility, and neighbors with opinions.
Check territorial rules before mining, cutting wood, or building on claimed land.
Clan roles grant specialized advantages. Assign them to match what members actually do.
Keep the clan treasury funded; glorious banners do not pay upkeep by themselves.
Unpaid territory costs can become debt, and debt eventually collects land instead of coins.
The capital is the heart of a kingdom. Defend it like losing it matters—because it does.
Markets reward preparation: compare demand before hauling half a forest across the realm.
Roads improve travel, trade, and military response. Mud is traditional, not efficient.
Peace zones protect traders and travelers. Leave the axe outside and the drama at home.
Freeborn life offers independence, but alliances turn scattered holdings into real power.
Scout before attacking. “There were more of them than expected” is not a battle plan.
Retreat is not cowardice when it saves your gear, your ship, and your evening.
If the server feels quiet, check the map, clan board, and active events—adventure rarely knocks twice.
